On February 24th, Nvidia established gear, and robots shone into reality. The full name of Gear is General Embodied Agent Research. The new department is led by senior AI research scientists, Professor Jim Fan, and Professor Yuke Zhu, who are responsible for the AI agency program. The aim is to build a basic model of embodied agents suitable for both virtual and physical worlds, and is committed to achieving intelligent applications across multiple modalities and scenarios. Nvidia firmly believes that in the future, every mobile machine will achieve autonomy, and robots and simulated intelligent agents will be ubiquitous like iPhones.

Nvidia collaborates with Chasing Technology, DriveU, Hesai Technology, No.9 Company, Obi Zhongguang, QT Company, Yushu Technology, and others in the field of robotics. Among them, Obi Zhongguang focuses on 3D visual perception business, and as a core partner of NVIDIA's robotics business, it is expected to fully benefit from robotics technology by binding with giants and card vision&computing power.
1) On the hardware level, Obi collaborated with Nvidia and Microsoft to develop the 3DiToF camera FemtoMega for mass production and global release;

NVIDIA Omniverse ecosystem and collaborated on the development of the PerseeN1 3D development kit. Multiple 3D cameras are integrated into the Nvidia robot simulation development platform IsaacSim. Obi has established business cooperation with multiple robot clients, including Ubisoft, Stander, Yunji Technology, and Gaoxian Robotics. GTC will release groundbreaking achievements in robotics in 2024.
Nvidia will hold the GTC 2024 conference from March 18th to 21st, during which Huang Renxun will release the latest breakthrough achievements in the fields of accelerated computing, generative AI, and robotics.
